A studio that stays until handover
SM Interior Studio began in 2020 with a single apartment in Mumbai and one rule: design for the people who will live in the space, not for the photograph. Friends of that first client became clients, and then their neighbours did.
Six years and more than 300 projects later, we work across Mumbai and Delhi with our own designers, site engineers and carpenters. Homes are our core work, and we take on cafés and offices when the brief is right.
We keep the process simple: clear quotations, honest timelines and one person to call from the first visit to the final handover.

What will it cost?
It depends on the size of the home, the materials and the level of finish. As a general guide in metro cities, a complete 2BHK interior typically falls between ₹6 lakh and ₹12 lakh, and a 3BHK between ₹9 lakh and ₹20 lakh. After a site visit we send a line-by-line quotation, so you can see what every rupee goes into.
How long does it take?
Design and drawings take about 2 to 3 weeks. After you approve them, a single room or kitchen takes 3 to 5 weeks on site, a full 2BHK usually 45 to 60 days, and a 3BHK 60 to 90 days. We give you a dated schedule before work begins.
Which materials do you use?
We use BWP (boiling waterproof) plywood for kitchens and wet areas, BWR-grade plywood for other rooms, HDHMR boards where moisture is a concern, branded laminates and veneers, and soft-close hardware from established makers. Every material is named in your quotation.
What warranty do you offer?
We give a 1-year warranty on workmanship and fix any defect at no charge in that period. Modular carcasses, hardware and fittings carry the manufacturer's own warranty, which is typically 5 to 10 years depending on the brand. You receive all warranty details in a handover file.
